Google panda katanya sangat “membenci” website atau blog yang memiliki format Auto Generated Content (AGC) [pihak Google menyebutnya dengan istilah "Content Farms" (beternak konten)]. Content Farms tidak hanya format AGC, namun User Generated Content (UGC).
Letak perbedaannya kalo AGC adalah sebuah blog yang isinya adalah link yang tidak berujung, dan semakin lama anda browser didalamnya, maka semakin kedalam anda dibawa kedalamnya tetapi tidak akan pernah mendapatkan informasi yang anda inginkan. AGC mengambil hasil pencarian dari banyaknya keyword yang dihasilkan dari hasil pencarian. Sedangkan kalo UGC merupakan sebauh web/situs yang isinya merupakan hasil sumbangan artikel dari para member/publishernya. Kalo UGC ini sebenarnya ada isi dan artikelnya dan memang merupakan artikel yang valid, cuma gak tau kenapa google juga tidak begitu suka dengan jenis web UGC ini.

The Blogger posts are archived after a chosen time period of usually one week, into one month long archive sections. Those time frames are changeable in the Blogger settings, for longer or shorter durations.
The internal linking of the pages is precoded by Blogger, enabling PageRank link popularity, and link anchor text to pass freely from one page to another. The pre-written code can also be altered should the blogger prefer a different internal linking structure.

Apa itu jumlah kompetitor? jumlah kompetitor adalah banyaknya kompetitor atau persaingan untuk suatu keyword atau kata kunci pada mesin pencarian aka search engine. Darimana kita akan mengetahui jumlah persaingan tersebut? untuk mengetahui ini sangat mudah karena setiap kali kita melakukan pencarian di mesin pencari google, google akan secara otomatis memberikan jumlah persaingan untuk kata kunci tersebut.
Sekarang silahkan coba untuk melakukan pencarian dengan kata kunci “blog tutorial”, berikut contoh gambaran hasilnya :

Jadi, jika blog anda mengandalkan kata kunci “blog tutorial” dengan target pengunjung Indonesia, maka kesempatan untuk mendapatkan kunjungan adalah sekitar 12100 perbulannya, itupun jika blog anda berada pada posisi paling atas di search engine, dan pengunjung tertarik semua untuk mengunjungi blog anda (tapi ini jarang terjadi). Namun, jumlah pencarian itupun akan terus berubah dari waktu ke waktu.
Jadi, angka 12.100 hanyalah sugesti saja dan bukan angka pasti, namun ini bisa dijadikan sedikit gambaran untuk kita dalam menentukan kata kunci yang di kejar.
Kompetisi berbanding terbalik dengan pencarian
Dalam perencanaan keyword utama dalam blog, kita harus memperhitungkan antara jumlah kompetisi dengan jumlah pencarian. Yang harus anda ingat adalah Jumlah pencarian harus mencari yang jumlahnya besar, sedangkan jumlah kompetisi harus kecil. Artinya jumlah kompetisi dengan jumlah pencarian harus berbanding terbalik.
Semakin banyak jumlah persaingan, maka blog kita akan sulit untuk jadi pemenang di search engine. Namun, walaupun kita menjadi rangking 1 di google, akan menjadi sia-sia saja apabila tidak ada orang yang mencari.

Apa itu jumlah pencarian? jumlah pencarian adalah banyaknya orang yang mencari suatu kata kunci di search engine, umumnya jumlah pencarian di tulis dalam skala bulanan. Dimana kita mengetahui rata-rata jumlah pencarian? untuk hal ini perlu bantuan tool. Dalam hal ini seperti yang ditulis pada postingan tentang niche kemarin, kita akan menggunakan Google AdWords Keyword Tool.
Sekarang silahkan coba kunjungi halaman Google AdWords Keyword Tool lalu tuliskan kata kunci blog tutorial, dan berikut contoh hasilnya :
Terlihat bahwa kata kunci “blog tutorial” jumlah pencarian perbulannya adalah 40500 untuk pencarian global (diseluruh dunia) dan 12100 untuk pencarian lokal (dalam contoh ini adalah google.co.id). Jadi, jika blog anda mengandalkan kata kunci “blog tutorial” dengan target pengunjung Indonesia, maka kesempatan untuk mendapatkan kunjungan adalah sekitar 12100 perbulannya, itupun jika blog anda berada pada posisi paling atas di search engine, dan pengunjung tertarik semua untuk mengunjungi blog anda (tapi ini jarang terjadi). Namun, jumlah pencarian itupun akan terus berubah dari waktu ke waktu.
Jadi, angka 12.100 hanyalah sugesti saja dan bukan angka pasti, namun ini bisa dijadikan sedikit gambaran untuk kita dalam menentukan kata kunci yang di kejar.
Kompetisi berbanding terbalik dengan pencarian
Dalam perencanaan keyword utama dalam blog, kita harus memperhitungkan antara jumlah kompetisi dengan jumlah pencarian. Yang harus anda ingat adalah Jumlah pencarian harus mencari yang jumlahnya besar, sedangkan jumlah kompetisi harus kecil. Artinya jumlah kompetisi dengan jumlah pencarian harus berbanding terbalik.
Semakin banyak jumlah persaingan, maka blog kita akan sulit untuk jadi pemenang di search engine. Namun, walaupun kita menjadi rangking 1 di google, akan menjadi sia-sia saja apabila tidak ada orang yang mencari.
So, silahkan lakukan riset terlebih dahulu sebelum anda memutuskan untuk mencari target utama dengan kata kunci tertentu. (Kang Rohman)
Niche Keyword, Niche Blog, apaan sih?
Apaan sih Niche itu? Jika anda telah lama bergelut didunia blog, mungkin anda pernah mendengar istilah niche Keyword, niche blog, niche market dan lain sebagainya.
Sebenanya kang Rohman juga sedikit bingung untuk menerangkan ini, namun sepertinya pembahasan tentang Niche sangat perlu untuk di ketahui. Jadi, mungkin sedikit ngawur ga apa apa kan
Niche adalah sesuatu yang terfokus atau spesifik. Niche Keyword adalah keyword atau kata kunci yang spesifik, Niche Blog adalah blog yang membahas tentang sesuatu yang spesifik bukan bersifat umum,
Niche market adalah target pasar yang dibidik sangat spesifik.
Agar tidak terlalu membingungkan, saya ambil contoh keyword : Sepatu. Jika di lihat dari segi Niche, Sepatu belum memenuhi syarat Niche karena masih umum. Lalu yang bagaimana yang termasuk Niche. Yang termasuk niche itu yang lebih spesifik, misal Sepatu Kulit Cibaduyut, Sepatu Olah raga adidas, Sepatu Futsal adidas, dan lain sebagainya.
Suatu blog dengan pembahasan yang spesifik mempunyai target pengunjung tersendiri, dan umumnya lebih mudah mendapatkan visitor tertarget di bandingkan dengan blog yang umum. Yang sangat penting untuk di perhatikan adalah anda harus jeli dalam memilih niche, niche apa yang banyak di cari orang namun sedikit kompetitornya di search engine. Untuk mengetahui ini semua, anda perlu mengadakan riset menggunakan tool keyword riset. Tool seperti ini banyak bertebaran di internet baik yang berbayar ataupun yang gratis.
